The Consulate General of Israel in Toronto

The Consulate General of Israel in Toronto provides consular services for Toronto and Western Canada and is responsible for the provinces of Ontario, Manitoba, Saskatchewan, Alberta and British Columbia and for the Northwest Territories, Yukon, and Nunavut. Funding from Jewish Federation and the Consulate makes this local service available.

 

An official representative office of the Government of Israel, the Consulate can provide helpful information for Israelis living abroad. Please visit the consulate website for information about everything from travel documents to importing pets.

The following consular services can be done by mail:

  • Renewal or extension of an adult’s passport
  • Notarization of government certificates
  • Military deferment/release papers that have been signed in front of a notary public
  • Application for documents from the Ministry of Interior
  • Visa applications
  • Police clearance
