Beyond Vancouver

With half the local Jewish population now living outside the City of Vancouver, Jewish Federation is committed to making it easier for people who live in the regional communities to connect with Jewish life. In addition to supporting our partner agencies’ outreach efforts through the Federation Annual Campaign, Jewish Federation’s own outreach initiatives - Connect Me In, PJ Library and Gesher Welcoming Services - run programs in cooperation with individuals, grassroots groups and organizations throughout the Lower Mainland, from Abbotsford to Squamish, and many areas between.

Connect Me In

Connect Me In is an outreach initiative of Jewish Federation focused on fostering connection and engagement with individuals and families who live in the emerging Jewish communities of the Lower Mainland.

PJ Library

PJ Library isn’t a library you visit; it comes to you. The program sends free, high-quality, age-appropriate Jewish children’s books and music to families on a monthly basis - no strings attached. PJ Library also hosts local family story-time events throughout the community.
