About the SCsIP

The Subcommittee on Cybersecurity and Information Protection (SCsIP) is a subcommittee of Jewish Federation's Community Security Advisory Committee and includes knowledgeable cybersecurity and information protection practitioners in our community who volunteer their time and expertise to assist Jewish community organizations. Its purpose is to recommend and share information about information technology risks and threats, and to provide guidance from recognized authoritative sources to help protect Jewish agencies in our community. The overall goal of the SCsIP is to provide resources that will assist agencies in protecting their information systems to prevent or mitigate loss, costs and liabilities stemming from data or systems breaches. The SCsIP provides information on best practices, assessment tools and training materials where appropriate.
