The ‘Internet of Things’ revolution is rapidly changing our life. Experts estimate that IoT will consist of almost 50 billion objects by 2020. Cars, trains, airplanes, garments, home devices are all about to join the grid.

We are proud to host Ido Sarig, the General Manager of the IOT Solutions Group at Wind River (Intel) as the keynote speaker of the evening. Ido will visit us from Palo Alto to share his insights on the IOT revolution, contrast the 'Consumer IoT' with the 'Industrial IoT' and try to predict their impact on our daily lives in the next few years.

Following the keynote presentation, two local entrepreneurs will present their companies:

Rod Zehavi the CEO of RDV Systems will present RDV’s products and solutions for 3D and 4D visualization of large scale engineering projects.

Prof. Ran Goldman of UBC and BC Children’s hospital will present his team's solution for how parents can find reliable medical information online.

As usual admission is free. Kosher style refreshments will be served and casual networking will take place before and after the Panel. All presentations will be in English.
