Shabbat Message - December 25, 2020

This message has 200 words and will take about 3 minutes to read.

Oh, what a year it has been!

While much of the year was characterized by change–often stressful change, including losses on many levels–not everything has been negative. We had difficult times as a community in 2020, but we have had successes, too.

Donors, volunteers, partners and staff all stepped up in unprecedented ways to address the challenges our community faced in 2020. Together, we have helped thousands of people and the dozens of organizations that serve them weather the storm. Together, we have reached out, connected people in innovative new ways, and developed a strategic approach to community recovery. Your generosity has fueled our partnerships and our strategic approach to recovery. In other words, you’ve made our collective impact possible, and that’s something to feel very proud of.

While we are not through the rough quite yet, we hope that looking back on our successes will highlight the good we can do together and bring a sense of hope for the future.
