Pop Up Shabbat comes to Coquitlam

Calling all young families! Our PJ Library Pop Up Shabbat program is coming to Coquitlam on Friday, January 27th. This is a perfect opportunity for parents and young children to connect and celebrate Shabbat in a welcoming (and super chill) environment. We’ll sing some Shabbat songs, do some arts and crafts, and enjoy storytime and snacks together.

Come as you are, and bring a friend or two. It’s a great way to give yourself a little break from the routine and meet other parents who live in your neighbourhood. You don’t have to be registered in the PJ Library program – everyone is welcome. Our Shabbat activities will be geared to children aged 0-3 years, but siblings and older children are most welcome to join in on the fun.

If you RSVP by January 23rd, then we will make sure there is a Shabbat kit for you to take home, complete with everything you need to make Friday night special for your family. We know how challenging it can be to plan ahead when you have little ones, so if you can’t RSVP, it’s fine. Just come join us anyway and have fun.
