Chart-topping Musicians to Perform at Yom Ha'atzmaut Celebration

Two chart-topping Israeli performers will take the stage: Shlomi Shaban and Ninet Tayeb.
With four critically acclaimed albums, Shlomi Shaban, a singer-songwriter, composer and classically trained pianist, is one of the most popular musicians in Israel. He has won great praise for his unique, diverse and original approach to piano. His unforgettable performances incorporate a wide range of genres, such as rock, pop, jazz, blues, Jewish traditional music and classical music. He has won several major AMI awards (the Israeli equivalent of the Juno awards), including Discovery of the Year, Song of the Year, Writer of the Year and Surprise of the Year.
Ninet Tayeb is considered one of the greatest singers on the Israeli rock scene, with a charismatic stage presence and breathtaking vocal skills. Her concerts and albums wow reviewers and her dynamic performances combine elements of rock, dance and soul music. “The live performance is my favorite part because everything is happening in the present,” she says.
